is Zumba®?
It's a 60-minute aerobic-dance program featuring a variety
of rhythms from all over Latin America. You'll get a taste of
everything-merengue, salsa, flamenco, samba, tango, reggae, cumbia,
calypso, cha cha, belly dancing, breakdancing and more!
What are the benefits?
It's fun, it burns approximately 500 calories per hour, and
it's great cardiovascular exercise with moderate impact. The music
is programmed to go from medium paced to very fast, then back to
down again, which means your heart rate speeds up and slows down,
making it easy to keep up.
Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves
and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away
their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be
"FUN AND EASY TO DO" in order for Zumba participants to stick to the
Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is
not only great for the body, but is also great for the mind. It is a
"feel-happy" workout.
ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes
creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines
feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast
and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the
principals of fitness interval training and resistance training to
maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a
mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
What is Zumba Gold®?
The active older adult population or the true beginner
(deconditioned participant). Zumba Gold effectively addresses the
anatomical, physiological and psychological needs specific to these
populations.

It’s an exciting, Latin inspired, dance 'n tone program.
This is the original dance-fitness class taken to the next level.
Zumba toning is an innovative muscle training program with the
addition of light weight toning sticks. Overtime this challenging
workout helps in building coordination and muscle endurance. Now
that you've worked on your lower body rhythm, its time to perfect
the upper body! The NEW and exciting Zumba toning program is
designed to offer the participant a safe, yet effective total body
toning workout! This class is open to everyone, no previous ZUMBA
experience necessary.
What is Aqua Zumba®?
This is the aqua fitness program everyone has been waiting for! Aqua
Zumba is definitely NOT your grandmother's water workout! This is
the "pool party" workout for all ages. Aqua Zumba integrates the
Zumba formula and philosophy into aqua fitness disciplines and
creates a challenging, refreshing and fun water-based workout.

is ZumbAtomic®?
Kids naturally love to dance, wiggle and sing along to great songs.
The ZumbAtomic takes that energy and fuses the Zumba formula with
the science behind children's exercise programs. Together, this
powerful formula creates a fun-filled approach that helps kids have

is Pilates®?
Pilates strengthens the muscles that support the spine (the
neck, shoulders, abs, hips and thighs) to bring balance into the
body. Most body aches and pains are due to muscular imbalance.
Pilates helps to realign the spine in order to decrease tension,
increase flexibility, and strengthen the body from the inside
out.

Is an interval style fitness program that alternates between
calorie blasting cardio work and muscle toning exercises to
